Java Technical Lead

Role Overview: You will be working in the area of Software Engineering, which involves the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions or applications. You will apply scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. It will be your responsibility to develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. Your work will require the exercise of original thought and judgment and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. You will build skills and expertise in your software engineering discipline to meet standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. Additionally, you will collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Must have 9+ years of experience building Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot, KAFKA - Should have 7+ years of hands-on experience with Core Java, Web Services, RESTful APIs, and UI - Strong understanding of technology and/or financial services domain - Working knowledge of SQL, XML/JSON, messaging, and data modeling - Experience with application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat - Familiarity with web frameworks like jQuery, Struts2, JSF, AJAX libraries, AngularJS - Proficiency in Unix scripting, Git/SVN, Maven, and Eclipse/IntelliJ - Experience with in-memory caching (GridGain/Coherence) - Exposure to microservices architecture and automation testing - Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins - Capable of working independently Qualifications Required: - Masters all phases of the software development lifecycle and applies innovation and industrialization - Shows dedication and commitment to business objectives and responsibilities - Operates with no supervision in highly complex environments and takes responsibility for a substantial aspect of activities - Manages difficult and complex situations calmly and professionally - Focuses on developing long-term partnerships with clients - Demonstrates leadership that balances business, technical, and people objectives - Plays a significant role in the recruitment and development of people Role Overview: You will be working in the area of Software Engineering, which involves the development, maintenance, and optimization of software solutions or applications.
