Java Selenium Automation Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining UI automation scripts using Selenium Java. Your main duties will include: - Building and enhancing automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, Maven, Gradle, Page Object Model (POM), and/or BDD Cucumber. - Performing data validation using SQL across multiple tables and environments. - Automating regression suites and ensuring stable execution in CICD pipelines. - Debugging failures, improving test reliability, stability, waits, and flaky test fixes. - Collaborating with developers, BA, and product teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria. - Contributing to test planning, automation strategy, and quality metrics. You must have the following skills: - Strong proficiency in Core Java, including OOP, collections, and exception handling. - Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver. - Expertise in automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, POM, and reporting tools like Extent and Allure. - Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregates, window functions, and query optimization basics. - Experience with Git, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions. - Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies. Good-to-have skills include: - API Automation using Rest Assured and Postman. - Basic knowledge of performance testing with JMeter. - Cloud testing experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. - Familiarity with Docker for test execution. - Exposure to microservices testing and Kafka validation. Tools and technologies you will work with include: - Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle. - SQL databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server. - Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD. - Reporting tools like Allure and Extent. - Defect management using JIRA. In addition to the technical skills mentioned, you will also be involved in API/Microservices testing, BDD testing, Cloud Application Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and more as part of your responsibilities.
