Job Description
In this role with Booking Holdings India, you will be an IT Analyst, Risk & Control (R&C) in the Center of Excellence. Your main responsibility will be to support R&C by testing IT controls for compliance with regulations and SOX302 attestation. As a subject matter expert, you will advise the Risk team on controls design, deficiencies evaluation, and process improvements. You should be adaptable in a fast-paced environment to succeed in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute and lead end-to-end testing for assigned areas, focusing on regulatory/compliance related risks
- Analyze information to assess and document testing results clearly
- Identify gaps in design and execution, communicate issues and recommendations to the R&C team and control owners
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including process walkthroughs and control testing documents
- Collaborate with R&C to strengthen the control environment, mitigate risks, and support business objectives
- Continuously improve R&C capabilities and governance from an IT testing standpoint
Qualifications:
- Strong background in IT risk management, IT frameworks, governance, and controls
- 4+ years of experience in IT compliance, internal controls, internal/external audit in an international environment
- Understanding of IT controls design and operating effectiveness assessment, interface controls, and modern technologies
- Familiarity with SOx, COSO, COBIT, and risk management frameworks
- Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and projects effectively
- Excellent communication skills to engage with audit teams, management, and stakeholders
- Comfortable working in English, both written and spoken
- Professional certification such as CISA/CRISC/CIA would be an advantage
- Bachelor's degree required, experience with a Big4 preferred
