IT Project Manager

Job Description:

You have 7+ years of IT project management experience and hold PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM/PSM certification. You have a proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget. Your expertise lies in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. Proficiency with project management tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project, and Confluence is essential. You have experience managing cross-functional, geographically distributed teams and handling project budgets ranging from $500K - $5M+. Your strong understanding of SDLC and software development best practices is a key asset. Additionally, you possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, leadership and team motivation capabilities, conflict resolution and negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities with a customer-focused mindset and attention to detail.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery using Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide accurate forecasting
• Conduct risk assessment, mitigation planning, and issue resolution
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders and leadership
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across delivery teams

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical oversight and guidance on .NET and Azure-based solutions
• Collaborate with architects and developers on technical design decisions
• Review technical specifications, architecture documents, and solution designs
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines
• Evaluate technical feasibility and recommend appropriate technologies
• Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline optimization
• Oversee code reviews, testing strategies, and deployment processes

Stakeholder Management:

• Act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications
• Manage expectations and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and technical discussions
