As an experienced candidate with extensive IT Finance expertise, your role at ISG will involve bridging finance and technology to support business objectives and operational goals. Collaborating closely with client leadership, you will play a key role in overseeing budgeting, spend analysis, forecasting, vendor management, and financial reporting. Your essential job functions will include: - Developing, maintaining, and reporting on financial and operational KPIs to monitor IT performance and cost-effectiveness. - Taking ownership of IT budgeting and forecasting, tracking capital (CapEx) and operating expenses (OpEx). - Serving as a financial liaison for vendor relationshipsevaluating, approving budgets, reviewing contracts, and processing payments. - Performing cost-benefit analyses for planned IT investments. - Monitoring IT project and development spend, ensuring timely reporting and variance analysis. - Maintaining accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and vendor information, and preparing reports and analysis on procurement activities. - Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors, evaluating vendor performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and resolving disputes and issues. - Creating and maintaining a comprehensive database with all financial documents and associated raw data. - Understanding and applying sound financial governance principles to ensure transparency, traceability, and auditability of source documents and resulting financial reports and transactions. - Interpreting and applying contract language and standards to related financial activities, and developing reports to monitor key financial elements of contracts. - Standardizing sourcing spend governance processes and templates. - Ensuring adherence to procurement and finance governance frameworks. - Supporting audits with accurate, complete, and timely financial documentation. - Supporting the preparation of IT sourcing budgets and rolling forecasts. - Tracking actual vs. planned spend, highlighting variances with root cause analysis. - Ensuring accurate allocation of sourcing costs to consuming business units. - Partnering with sourcing teams to monitor savings commitments and track benefits realization. Qualifications required for this role include: - CA, CPA, Bachelors Degree in commerce discipline with MBA in Finance (preferred). - 10-12 years of relevant experience. - Good knowledge of IT functions and their relevance to financial management. - Strong understanding of purchasing and contract law. - Proficiency in Financial Analysis and Planning. - Working knowledge of different process applications including MS PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. - Strong English language aptitude/proficiency for solid written and verbal communication.
