Role Overview:
As an IT Engineer - Network Engineer at BNP Paribas India Solutions, specifically in the Arval IT/Production/Infra department, you will be responsible for working closely with team members and business teams to develop features according to requirements. Your role will involve ensuring that developments align with best practices and monitoring promotions on higher environments. Additionally, you will support production or test environments activities, including job monitoring and issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firewalling:
- Apply modifications on ARVAL Firewall policies, such as adding, removing, or editing Firewall policies and managing NAT rules.
- Apply modifications on ARVAL Firewalls, including adding L3 interfaces, Vlans, managing routes, and deploying security hotfixes during non-business hours.
- Ensure L2 support in case of incidents and assist ARVAL users in identifying flow-related blocking points.
- Technologies involved: Checkpoint, Fortinet
- Load-Balancing:
- Deploy VIPS according to Arval standard.
- Deploy or renew certificates (public/internal) on a monthly basis to avoid certificate incidents.
- Ensure L2 support in case of incidents and assist ARVAL users in identifying VIP-related blocking points.
- Technologies involved: F5 and Citrix Netscaler
- Proxy:
- Deploy whitelist and blacklist according to security requirements.
- Ensure L2 support in case of incidents and assist ARVAL users in identifying Proxy-related blocking points.
- Technology involved: TrellixWebgateways
- Routing/Switching:
- Implement routes if required.
- Provide and configure switch ports if required.
- Ensure L2 support in case of incidents and assist ARVAL users in identifying routing/switching blocking points.
- Technology involved: Cisco Nexus 9K (VPC)
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience
- Specific technical skills required:
- Past experiences managing Checkpoint Firewall (VSX, R81.20)
- Past experiences managing F5 load balancers (LTM module). Experience in Citrix netscaler is a plus
- Past experiences managing Proxy (Mcafee/trellix web gateways)
- Past experiences managing Cisco switches (Vlan management VPC configuration). Experiences in HP/Comware switches is a plus
