Job Description
As a Sales Engineer at Trend Micro, you will be part of a high-performance team focusing on cutting-edge technology solutions related to cybersecurity. You will have opportunities to work with technologies like cloud-native application security, DevSecOps, and other emerging areas of cloud. Trend Micro, known for its leadership in unified endpoint security, network security, and email security, offers end-to-end security solutions, including XDR. In this role, you will be an evangelist, a product expert, and a trusted advisor to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide customers in selecting and deploying Trend Micro Next-Gen security solutions
- Develop customer relationships and provide leadership in security architecture
- Influence customer's technical strategy with problem-solving skills
- Understand customer needs, risks, tolerance, and technology gaps
- Assist customers in navigating through the product experience journey
- Focus on customer success during engagement, onboarding, and product experience
- Train sales organization and improve sales effectiveness
- Collaborate with cybersecurity partners and channel partners for customer engagement
- Provide routine updates on new products/technologies to internal sales staff
- Participate in technical communities of interest for continuous learning and self-improvement
- Deliver high-quality presales support and solutions in webinars, workshops, and industry events
- Demonstrate knowledge in SOC operations, security analytics, cloud architecture, SASE, CASB, and Zero trust model
- Familiarity with Microsoft O365, Azure, Google, and AWS services
- Exposure to security software solutions such as Firewall, Content Security, Intrusion Prevention, Encryption, Data Leakage Prevention, and Monitoring Security
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
- Understanding of public cloud technologies like AWS and Azure

- Strong technical background in cybersecurity and cloud technologies
- Experience in sales engineering or a similar role
- Knowledge of cloud-native application security, SOC operations, and security analytics
- Familiarity with cybersecurity partners and channel partners
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated on industry trends
- Proficiency in English language
