Role Overview:
As a member of the IA Technology Strategy Office (TSO) at Goldman Sachs, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic vision for IA engineering and data analytics. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with project sponsors and engineering leaders to establish a product strategy and road map. Additionally, you will analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards for approved projects, enabling agile delivery by leading product development processes. You will support regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects. Furthermore, you will assist Senior Product Managers with training processes and strategies for new product features, as well as in product launches and deployment plans for new products. Your role will also involve maintaining connectivity with the user community by monitoring product usage post-launch and validating product performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project sponsors and engineering leaders to establish a product strategy and road map
- Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards for approved projects
- Enable agile delivery by leading product development processes (writing user stories, testing)
- Support regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
- Assist Senior Product Managers with training processes and strategies for new product features
- Support Senior Product Managers in product launches and deployment plans for new products
- Maintain connectivity with the user community by monitoring usage of the product post-launch and validating product performance
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of management consulting experience or similar discipline
- At least 2 years of technical product management experience in an agile environment
- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles
- Experience with UX design engagements (a plus)
