Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance Linux environments such as Ubuntu, RHEL, and CentOS.
- Design and support cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS services like EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and ELB.
- Automate deployments, configurations, and monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps, Security, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Continuously monitor system health, performance, and availability, and proactively resolve issues.
- Advocate for infrastructure reliability, observability, and security best practices company-wide.
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing and documentation to support teammates and future engineers.
- Support a culture of learning and community through activities like code reviews, internal talks, and mentoring.
Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Linux-based production systems.
- 2+ years of practical experience with AWS, including designing and maintaining core cloud infrastructure.
- Strong scripting and automation skills in languages like Bash and Python.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals such as DNS, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Collaborative mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of ownership.
