Information Technology Network Specialist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable on-premise and cloud-based network infrastructures. Your role will involve collaborating with IT and Operations teams to integrate network infrastructure with various operational systems, ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of network systems, identifying and resolving network issues promptly, and maintaining up-to-date documentation for all network configurations and processes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering and architecture. - Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.). - Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and other networking protocols. - Familiarity with setting up and managing surveillance systems and retail POS systems. - Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure. - Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or similar. - Experience in the retail industry, particularly with multi-location networks. - Knowledge of network security practices and compliance standards.
