Job Description
As part of a dynamic finance team at Hilti, you will be driving accuracy, insights, and financial discipline. This position offers an industrial training assignment for CA students, providing structured exposure to Financial Planning & Analysis within a large, professionally managed organization. You will support defined FP&A processes and deliverables under close supervision, in line with established policies, controls, and reporting standards.
**Role Overview:**
- Assist in execution of routine month-end close activities in accordance with prescribed timelines and procedures.
- Support preparation of standard FP&A reports, including monthly and quarterly financial summaries, under guidance.
- Perform preliminary financial analysis, including spreadsheet-based data compilation, variance analysis, trend identification, and drafting of initial commentary.
- Coordinate with relevant Finance teams and stakeholders to obtain required financial inputs.
- Provide execution-level support on ongoing FP&A initiatives and process improvement exercises.
- Assist in preparation, documentation, and periodic review of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Adhere to the organizations financial policies, internal control framework, and compliance requirements.
**Qualifications Required:**
- CA Intermediate / eligible for Industrial Training under ICAI norms.
- Completion of a minimum of 12 months of practical training/articleship, as prescribed by ICAI.
- Prior Articleship experience with a Big 4 firm preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and fundamental financial analysis, with the ability to work through key assumptions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and exposure to structured, process-oriented reporting environments.
- High attention to detail, strong work discipline, and ability to operate effectively within a process-driven, multi-stakeholder environment.
