Role Overview:
At QS, as an In-Country Representative, you will be supporting McMaster University in driving international student recruitment initiatives in India. Your responsibilities will include delivering recruitment, conversion marketing, and sales activities across designated markets in India. You will be representing McMaster University and expected to travel extensively across key cities in India to engage with agents, schools, and other stakeholders. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to increase international student recruitment and raise McMaster's brand awareness in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the McMaster representative for international student enrollment in the region, identifying opportunities and potential challenges
- Establish a network of relationships to support and maximize regional recruitment goals
- Increase leads and international student applications through proactive recruitment activities and engagement
- Meet application and enrollment goals for the assigned program
- Manage event logistics, communications, and partner relationships effectively
- Ensure all regional recruitment activities align with best practices in enrollment management
- Communicate regularly with the McMaster team to align activities with institutional goals
- Report on outcomes of all activities, including relevant metrics and data
- Engage in recruitment events, communicate with prospective students, provide program information, manage partners, support applications, engage alumni, and collect data diligently
Qualification Required:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent in higher education-related field
- Experience in student recruitment or university representation
- Advanced English language skills
- Willingness to travel within India and internationally
- Strong presentation, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, manage travel, and remain motivated
- Attention to detail, numeracy skills, and experience with managing budgets and data interpretation
- Experience working with international students, educational agencies in India, and promoting diverse education portfolios
- Customer service experience and contributing to enrollment targets
