Role Overview:
As a UI/UX Designer, you will be instrumental in designing and enhancing user interfaces and experiences on various digital platforms. Your primary focus will be on creating user-friendly, engaging designs that cater to user needs and business objectives, ultimately improving user satisfaction and product accessibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to comprehend user behaviours, needs, and pain points.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups for effective design communication.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs meet business goals and user requirements.
- Design high-quality user interfaces for web and mobile applications to improve aesthetics and usability.
- Maintain design consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and platforms.
- Implement design best practices for intuitive navigation, user flows, and interactive elements.
- Perform usability and A/B testing to validate design decisions and enhance user experience.
- Analyze user feedback and usage data to make informed design enhancements.
- Continuously iterate on designs based on testing and feedback to optimize performance and user satisfaction.
- Work closely with developers to ensure accurate UI/UX design implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align designs with the brand's vision and messaging.
- Present design ideas and prototypes to stakeholders, collect feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI pattern libraries for consistency.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies to introduce innovative solutions.
Qualification Required:
- Proven experience in creating user-centered designs and wireframes for web and mobile platforms.
- Expertise in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to conduct user research, interpret usability testing, and present design ideas.
- Proficiency in prototyping, creating mock-ups, and collaborating with developers.
- Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in design execution.
- Familiarity with design systems and atomic design principles (Nice to Have).
- Experience with animation and interaction design tools (Nice to Have).
- Knowledge of user behaviour analytics tools such as Hotjar or Google Analytics (Nice to Have).
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks for collaborative design and development (Nice to Have).
