Job Description

As the HR Manager for the Hospital in Ludhiana, Punjab, your role is crucial in fostering a positive working environment to enhance employee satisfaction and productivity. You will be responsible for attracting, retaining, and developing skilled healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement HR policies and practices tailored for the hospital. - Manage the recruitment process including job postings, interviews, and selections. - Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs for new hires. - Conduct training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge. - Monitor and improve employee engagement, satisfaction, compliance with labor laws, healthcare regulations, and organizational policies. - Facilitate conflict resolution and mediation between employees and management. - Develop performance appraisal systems and provide coaching to managers. - Maintain employee records and handle sensitive information confidentially. - Conduct workforce planning and assist with succession planning efforts. - Collaborate with department heads to assess workforce needs. - Implement compensation and benefits programs to attract top talent. - Lead initiatives for diversity and inclusion within the hospital. - Manage employee relations and address grievances in a timely manner. - Compile and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM PHR) preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally in healthcare. - Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. - Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle sensitive issues with confidentiality and discretion. - Demonstrated leadership abilities and team management experience. - Experience with HR software and data analysis. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems. - Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. - Ability to build strong relationships with all levels of staff and management. - Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and issues. - Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
