Job Description
As an HR Data Analyst at Waters Corporation, you will be part of the HR Data Intelligence and Governance team, utilizing data science techniques to support various HR functions such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, retention, diversity and inclusion, workforce planning, and performance management. Your role will involve designing, developing, and deploying metrics and predictive models to address HR challenges, conducting data analysis to derive insights, collaborating with different HR groups to develop dashboards and reports, ensuring data integrity and compliance, and translating complex data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy metrics and predictive models for HR problem-solving
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to generate actionable insights on workforce trends
- Collaborate with HRBPs, talent acquisition, and other HR groups to develop dashboards and reports
- Work with large, complex datasets from various HR systems
- Ensure alignment with the HR data governance team for consistent metric definitions
- Translate complex data insights into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders
- Maintain data integrity, privacy, and compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
Required:
- B.A. or B.S. degree
- 5-7 years of industry experience in reporting and analytics
- Attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
- Experience in working with HR data, reporting, and analytics
- Proficiency in handling large volumes of data and testing data flow across systems
- Documentation skills for complex business and technical processes
- Collaboration experience with data analysts, software engineers, and business partners
- Familiarity with agile methodology and project management
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data analysis skills
- Aptitude to learn new software and data solutions
Preferred:
- Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors or equivalent systems
- Prior experience as an application Product Manager or Product Owner
