Role Overview:
You will be responsible for leading the end-to-end hire to retire cycle for a large workforce and designing, planning, and executing the workforce strategy for a leading logistics provider with a strong presence across the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end planning and deployment of a large operations workforce to ensure availability, productivity, and capability building.
- Assess and implement new workforce engagement and deployment models aligned with business needs and expansion plans.
- Build strategic partnerships to enhance hiring, training, and workforce readiness.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and continuous capability development for third-party workforce.
- Manage partnerships with service providers, training institutions, and NGOs to ensure uninterrupted, cost-effective manpower supply.
- Drive workforce productivity, engagement, and skilling programs to reduce absenteeism and attrition.
- Implement predictive analytics and tech-driven solutions to enable cost optimization and operational efficiency.
- Lead productivity and cost-saving initiatives across sites.
- Build and maintain solid on-ground relationships to ensure a stable and harmonious industrial relations environment.
- Oversee MIS governance, conduct site reviews, and guide teams in managing critical situations and crises.
- Foster a culture of respect, performance, and continuous learning.
- Develop HR and operations leadership pipelines through structured capability-building initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with business leaders to align workforce strategies with business priorities.
- Work with key clients to address service issues, enhance delivery standards, and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end workforce strategies and operations.
- Strong expertise in talent acquisition, development, and vendor management.
- Excellent skills in workforce productivity enhancement, engagement, and analytics.
- Sound knowledge of industrial relations, stakeholder management, and organizational capability building.
