Job Description
As a Performance Marketing Manager at The Wellness Shop, you will play a crucial role in leading and scaling digital growth initiatives for our fast-growing D2C wellness and personal care brand. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing comprehensive performance marketing strategies across various platforms and managing large advertising budgets exceeding 25-30 crore annually. Your data-driven decision-making and growth experimentation skills will be key in driving sustainable revenue growth.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute comprehensive performance marketing strategies across Meta, Google, YouTube, and other paid channels.
- Manage and optimize annual ad budgets exceeding 25-30 crore with clear ROAS, CAC, and LTV targets.
- Scale customer acquisition profitably while maintaining strong unit economics.
- Continuously test, optimize, and scale winning campaigns through structured experimentation.
Lead and manage teams across:
- Meta Ads
- Google Ads
- Marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
- Other paid marketing verticals
- Set performance KPIs and ensure cross-channel alignment
- Collaborate with creative, content, and product teams to improve campaign outcomes.
**Growth Hacking & Experimentation:**
- Implement growth hacking frameworks to identify new acquisition opportunities.
- Run rapid A/B testing cycles across creatives, funnels, and landing pages.
- Identify new channels and partnerships for incremental growth.
**Retention & Lifecycle Marketing:**
- Oversee retention marketing tools (Email, SMS, WhatsApp, CRM automation).
- Improve customer lifetime value (LTV) through remarketing and lifecycle strategies.
- Work closely with CRM and automation platforms to drive repeat purchases.
**Analytics & Reporting:**
- Monitor performance metrics including ROAS, CAC, LTV, MER, contribution margin, etc.
- Build dashboards and performance reports for leadership.
- Provide actionable insights backed by data.
**Required Qualifications:**
- B. Tech graduate or MBA (Tier 1/2 preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably in D2C brands.
- Proven experience scaling D2C brands profitably.
- Experience managing annual ad budgets of 25-30 crore or more.
- Hands-on expertise in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and marketplace advertising.
- Strong knowledge of attribution models, analytics tools, and tracking frameworks.
- Experience leading and managing cross-functional marketing teams.
- Deep understanding of growth hacking strategies and experimentation frameworks.
- Experience with retention marketing tools (Klaviyo, MoEngage, WebEngage, Clevertap, etc.).
**Preferred Skills:**
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ownership attitude.
- Experience in wellness, beauty, or personal care brands is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
