Job Description
As a Dynamic and Passionate Head of IT (CoE Head) with a strong Trading / Capital Markets / Wealth Management domain experience, you will be leading and managing a large offshore IT delivery team consisting of 80 to 100+ members. Your role involves defining and driving IT strategies, optimizing operational processes for scalability and efficiency, and hiring key roles to enhance the IT organization. Collaboration with department heads to plan and oversee IT projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business priorities is a crucial aspect of your responsibilities. Your excellent stakeholder management and communication skills will be essential for working closely with the IT Director and main office leadership to facilitate seamless collaboration across distributed teams and time zones, addressing operational challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive IT strategies for the organization
- Implement and optimize operational processes for scalability and efficiency
- Hire key roles to strengthen the IT organization
- Plan and oversee IT projects in collaboration with department heads
- Ensure timely delivery and alignment with business priorities
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively
- Communicate with the IT Director and main office leadership
- Address operational challenges with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Build and expand offshore teams through recruitment, people management, talent retention, and performance management
- Utilize knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including SDLC, DevOps, cloud technologies, microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, agile methodologies, and security best practices
- Exposure to technology stacks such as C#, .NET, Java, networking, and cybersecurity
Qualifications Required:
- Strong leadership capability
- Experience in Trading / Capital Markets / Wealth Management domain
- Proven expertise in building and expanding offshore teams
- Knowledge of modern software engineering practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
