Head of Corporate Finance

Role Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Credvest, you will be responsible for overseeing group-level accounting, compliance, and financial control. Your role will involve providing accurate insights to business leaders to support decision-making and aligning financial strategies with the company's growth plans. Key Responsibilities: - Undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and development of internal control policies and procedures. - Oversee accounting and financial reporting across group entities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. - Support preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and rolling projections. - Monitor and manage cash flows, optimize working capital, and develop cash flow forecasts. - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and coordinate with auditors for audits. - Establish and maintain internal financial controls, identify process improvements, and drive automation and digitization of finance processes. - Lead and mentor the finance team, collaborate with other departments, and liaise with external stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred with a strong accounting background. - X years of experience required with at least 2-3 years in a Controller/Manager role. - Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards. - Excellent communication and leadership abilities. - Hands-on experience in cash flow management, working capital, and cost optimization. - Experience in Zoho Books is an added advantage. - Ability to work in a fast-paced promoter-driven environment.
