We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Guidewire Developer to join a dynamic team supporting enterprise insurance platforms.
Position: Guidewire Developer
Experience: 610 Years
Work Mode: Work From Office
Start Date: Immediate
Work Timings: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter. The role involves designing, configuring, and integrating Guidewire solutions to support core insurance operations.
Key Responsibilities
Guidewire Development & Configuration
Design and implement solutions in PolicyCenter and BillingCenter
Perform configuration including:
Product Model changes
PCF/UI enhancements
Business Rules
Workflows
Batch processes
Customize and extend Guidewire applications using Gosu
Integration Development
Build and maintain integrations using:
Guidewire Integration Framework
REST & SOAP services
Messaging systems (if applicable)
Develop backend services using Java
Ensure secure and scalable integration patterns
Engineering Best Practices
Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Maintain strong unit test coverage
Participate in code reviews
Apply clean code and OOP principles
Support production issues and root cause analysis
Collaboration & Delivery
Work closely with Product Owners, BA, QA, and DevOps teams
Translate business requirements into technical solutions
Contribute to architecture and design discussions
Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
Required Qualifications
5+ years of Guidewire development experience
Strong expertise in:
PolicyCenter
BillingCenter
Active Guidewire Certifications (Preferred):
PolicyCenter (Associate / ACE)
BillingCenter (Associate / ACE)
Strong knowledge of:
Java
OOP & Design Patterns
Experience with REST APIs and integration frameworks
Experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit or similar)
Exposure to Agile development environments
