Group Project Manager

Role Overview:

You will be working as a Group Project Manager (B2C Program) at Rakuten India, independently leading cross-organization teams involved in product engineering and delivery. Your main responsibilities will include managing customer communication on planned releases and delivery, providing timely updates, mitigating risks, ensuring planned deliveries, and collaborating closely with multiple functional teams to build and maintain delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-organization teams involved in product engineering and delivery
• Manage customer communication on planned releases and delivery
• Provide timely updates, help mitigate risks, and ensure planned deliveries
• Work closely with multiple functional teams to build and maintain delivery timelines
• Define and streamline cross-functional dependencies and ensure timely completion of the program

Qualifications Required:

• Upto 15-20 years of hands-on technical project/program management experience
• Must have Telecom Background with exposure to working with Telcom operators/ISP (B2B, B2C B2B customer solutions) for at least 5+ years in the BSS domain
• BSS Domain expertise required in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Product Catalog & Offer Management, Order Management & Fulfillment, Billing & Charging (Prepaid/Postpaid), Revenue Management & Assurance, Payment Gateway/3rd party Integration
• Familiarity with Technology and tools such as Microservices-based architecture, Data Migration Strategy & Execution, Integration Technologies, Cloud-Native BSS (AWS, Azure, GCP), Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Visio, SharePoint, Database solutions, Data streaming technologies
• Program Management skills with the ability to act as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, manage issues and risks, and demonstrate strategic planning and thought leadership
• Good knowledge of Agile Project Management Methodology, program planning, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution
• Excellent customer communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) to effectively communicate complex technical and business issues to diverse audiences
