Job Description
Role Overview:
You will be providing application support for FNZ business, handling issue management from external and internal clients to meet KPIs and SLAs. Your role will involve liaising with other areas of FNZ to ensure a robust and scalable production environment for all FNZs customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing high quality and timely First Line Support to all clients globally.
- Assisting in ensuring that applications are working correctly as deployed.
- Resolving incidents as per agreed procedures and escalating internally to relevant teams for incidents beyond our remit.
- Managing stakeholder communication and customer expectations for incident resolution.
- Evaluating incident management response and recovery efforts for major incidents to enable continuous improvement.
- Supporting Service Managers in delivering FNZ services within KPIs, SLAs, and contractual obligations.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, or other Sciences, or equivalent working experience.
- Intermediate SQL skills.
- Interest or familiarity with financial markets and products is beneficial.
- Strong analytical thinking, keen attention to detail, and proven problem-solving abilities.
- Independent, self-directing, and delivery-focused working style.
- Excellent communication skills for dealing with internal and external clients.
- Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced industry and effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational, administration, and time management skills.
- Some experience with Microsoft .NET development products, including C#, VB.NET, and SQL Server, is beneficial.
- Commitment to working long hours at times, particularly around project deadlines.
