Job Description
You are part of the Accounts Receivable (AR) team at ERM, a function within the Finance Department responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation, processing, and collection of project invoices. Your role as an Accounts Receivable Associate involves progressing invoices through the invoice life cycle from receipt confirmation to payment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Apply skip tracing methods to obtain client AP contact information
- Utilize prioritization list for client reach outs via email, phone, and portal
- Document information obtained from client interactions on the team shared AR report
- Collaborate with client AP to identify and resolve potential payment issues
- Escalate stalled or delinquent invoices to AR and Finance leadership or project teams
- Manage queue assignments including write-offs, statement of accounts, payment history reports, and credit invoices
- Meet individual and team performance KPIs, including Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Ensure adherence to ERM policies and procedures
**Skills Required:**
- Effective and professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for task prioritization
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic to drive tasks to resolution
- Proficiency in Excel
**Qualifications:**
- Degree in commerce (B.Com) or (M.Com) or equivalent
- Additional courses or certifications in accounting or finance are advantageous
- Three to five years of accounts receivable experience, with a preference for professional services experience
- Ability to work 2nd shift
