Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Global Enterprise Architect at Hitachi Energy, you will represent the Enterprise Architecture authority for Finance, IARIC, and Legal and Integrity domains. Your primary responsibility will be to align IT solutions with Hitachi Energy's business goals by developing, planning, driving, expediting, documenting, and communicating the global Enterprise Architecture. You will ensure that all domain IT components fit together from both technical and business perspectives, taking advantage of new technology developments. Additionally, you will make significant contributions to the Hitachi Energy IT Strategy for the relevant domain and support the relevant IT Solution Architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect: Develop IT policies, standards, and guidelines, supervise the selection, development, and implementation of IT application solutions and technologies, assess the IT architecture landscape, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Best practice & Knowledge sharing: Analyze IT industry trends, keep knowledge up to date, and enable Hitachi Energy to invest in the right IT application solutions and technical platforms.
- IT Strategy: Design and lead the implementation of Hitachi Energy Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Architecture Roadmap based on business requirements, identify opportunities and gaps, and work on inter-operability between various business processes architectural domains.
- Processes: Support the evaluation of Business Capabilities, drive innovation in IT Application and/or Technology Architecture area, and participate in business domain councils.
- Governance: Participate in relevant councils to support and advise on suitable IT solutions and roadmaps, drive the enterprise architecture process, and work closely with stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate closely with stakeholders regarding their expectations, business and technical requirements, and partner with Business and IT to understand demand and business needs.
Qualifications Required:
- 10+ years of experience with Finance and Audit knowledge Applications and Applications development & management processes and solutions, including SAP S4, Tagetik, Blackline, and Analytics tools.
- Understanding of Architectural Frameworks like CSVLOD Model, TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
- Experience in translating business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions, systems thinking, business skills, soft skills, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Fluent English language and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in objectively evaluating solutions and making recommendations.
