Full-Stack Developer

As a Full-Stack Developer at Conversion I/O, you will join our tech team in building and maintaining the proprietary experimentation operating system used by leading brands across EMEA and North America. You will have the opportunity to contribute across the full stack, from backend APIs to modern frontend components, impacting how experimentation programs are built and managed. **Roles & Responsibilities** **Day-to-Day** - Build and maintain features using Laravel (PHP) on the backend and Vue.js on the frontend - Write clean and well-structured code, actively participate in peer code reviews - Collaborate with the team via async channels (Microsoft Teams, Jira) and scheduled video calls - Debug and resolve issues across the full stack - Contribute to sprint planning, ticket estimation, and technical discussions **Longer-Term** - Take increasing ownership of platform features and technical decisions - Help shape tooling improvements and suggest ideas for workflow efficiency - Support integrations with third-party platforms including A/B testing tools and analytics APIs **Must-Have Skills** - Backend - PHP 8.1+ with Laravel, MySQL - Frontend - JavaScript (ES6+), Vue.js (v2+), SCSS/SASS, Bootstrap 5 - Tooling & Process - Git, GitHub, Docker - Strong English communication skills - Experience with legacy code and modern patterns **Good to Have** - Familiarity with technologies like React, Next.js, Redux, Typescript, Node.js - Knowledge of RESTful API design, GraphQL, Redis, Pusher - Experience with PHPUnit, OAuth/JWT authentication, AWS, Nginx - Familiarity with DigitalOcean container registry, Vite, Axios, ESLint - Understanding of A/B testing principles and platforms such as Optimizely, VWO, Kameleoon - Google Analytics API integration and Jira API This role requires a strong understanding of both backend and frontend technologies, as well as effective communication skills for collaboration across timezones.
