Full Stack Developer

As a principal full stack engineer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on various aspects of software design and development. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with UX and Product Management teams to design software
• Working with Architects and Engineering leads to build scalable software
• Engaging in back-end software development
• Demonstrating proficiency in low-level system architecture design
• Possessing a strong knowledge of web development technologies such as MVC, React, and Angular Framework
• Taking ownership of the product
• Conducting testing and bug fixing
• Establishing security and data protection settings
• Developing features with a mobile-responsive design
• Applying experience with Agile/Scrum methodology, Behavior Driven Development, and CI/CD
• Utilizing critical and creative thinking in a dynamic environment, while adapting to new tools and domain knowledge

We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of industry experience as a Backend/Full Stack Engineer
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in developing web and mobile applications
• 2-5 years of experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, JavaScript/Typescript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
• 2-5 years of full-time Python (Django) experience, with hands-on experience throughout the Agile software development life cycle
• Ability to write optimized code, debug programs, and integrate applications with third-party tools via various APIs
• Proficiency in Python or relevant back-end scripting language
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases, web servers (e.g. Nginx)
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS), microservices, and load scaling
• Strong knowledge of new open source technologies, applications, techniques, and skills
• Positive attitude and growth mindset
• Attention to detail

Additionally, candidates with the following experience will be considered a bonus:

• Experience with serverless deployment (e.g. Lambda)
• Experience with API testing software (e.g. Postman)
• Experience with multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JS)
• Sense of humor
