As a Frontend Engineer specializing in React.js, your role will involve designing and developing frontend applications with a focus on creating interactive visualization dashboards and charts. Here are the key responsibilities you will be expected to undertake: - Design and develop responsive and high-performance frontend applications using React.js. - Integrate efficiently and securely with FastAPI backend services. - Create advanced visualization dashboards and charts to represent data flows and dependencies across applications. - Utilize visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, Highcharts, Plotly, and Cytoscape.js for interactive representations. - Collaborate closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to design lineage views that meet technical and business requirements. - Ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance of visualization components. - Implement best practices in frontend development, including state management, caching, security, and testing. - Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing in an Agile/DevOps environment. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - Hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. - Familiarity with FastAPI or other Python-based backends. - Expertise in data visualization frameworks like D3.js, Plotly, Highcharts, Recharts, or similar. - Ability to design visual lineage models demonstrating relationships and dependencies between applications. - Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and WebSockets. - Knowledge of state management frameworks such as Redux, Zustand, Recoil, or Context API. - Strong problem-solving skills to translate business lineage requirements into visualization solutions. - Proficiency in software engineering best practices, including testing (Jest, Cypress), Git workflows, and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, the following qualifications would be preferred: - Experience with graph visualization libraries like Cytoscape.js, Sigma.js, or Neo4j Bloom integration. - Background in data lineage, enterprise architecture, or metadata management tools. - Knowledge of UX/UI design principles for complex data visualization. - Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure/GCP/AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field would be advantageous.
