Job Description
As an Apparel Merchandiser, your role involves handling buyer accounts independently, from order placement to shipment. You will coordinate proto, fit, size set, and salesman samples to meet buyer specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for material sourcing, supplier negotiation, and finalizing costing sheets to achieve profitability targets. Monitoring production timelines, overseeing in-house accessories/trims, and ensuring on-time delivery are also key aspects of your role. Collaborating with quality departments to maintain product standards and acting as the primary point of contact for buyers regarding orders, queries, and updates are crucial responsibilities.
Your qualifications should include previous experience in apparel merchandising, specifically with woven/knitted products. A strong understanding of fabric, production techniques, and costing is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills are required. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is preferred. A degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field is necessary for this role.
The company is offering a full-time position with a monthly salary ranging from 18,000.00 to 22,000.00. The work location is in person.
