Job Description

In the role of Manager within the Consumer Client Protection organization, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with vendors and internal teams to develop approval documentation for new fraud scores and algorithms, ensuring comprehensive documentation on model build, testing, validation, methodology, and performance
- Conducting periodic model validations to assess key metrics such as precision, recall, and score performance, and identifying areas for improvement to prevent unexpected fraud losses
- Communicating model performance and trends to Strategies teams, providing insights into areas of deterioration or underperformance for necessary adjustments
- Partnering with Model Risk Management teams to address follow-up items on approved models and develop best practices for fraud model governance
- Creating dashboards and MIS to demonstrate model performance, trending, and potential issues
- Supporting automation initiatives within the team to streamline processes and tasks
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Advanced degree in Statistics/Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline, with technical certifications in SAS and SQL preferred
- 6 to 9 years of analytics experience, including 2+ years in model risk management, with proficiency in SAS, SQL, and preferably Python/PySpark
- Experience with data extraction tools like Hive, HUE, or Pig, as well as visualization software such as Tableau and presentation software like PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organizational skills, along with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving
Desired skills for this role:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative discipline, with U.S financial services experience being preferable
- Understanding of business domains like Fraud, Compliance, or Risk is an added advantage
- Post-graduate degree is a plus
You will be working in Mumbai, Gandhinagar, or Chennai with shift timings from 11:30 AM to 8:30 PM.
