Job Description
As a Spam Analyst at our company, you will be responsible for identifying and analyzing spam incidents to ensure a secure email environment. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Pattern Recognition: You will be tasked with identifying recurring themes, malicious URLs, or suspicious attachments across multiple spam incidents.
- Data Interpretation: Analyzing email logs, bounce messages, and spam reports to extract relevant information will be a crucial part of your role.
- Forensic Thinking: Approach spam incidents like a puzzle, gathering clues, and piecing together information to form a complete picture.
In addition to the above responsibilities, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Mandatory graduation in any field.
- Cybersecurity Awareness:
- Phishing and Spoofing Recognition: Identify characteristics of phishing and spoofing attempts that often masquerade as legitimate emails.
- Malware and Ransomware Awareness: Understand the dangers of malicious attachments and links.
- Account Compromise Indicators: Recognize signs that a customer's email account may have been compromised and used for spamming.
Please note the following additional details:
- Rotational shifts and rotational weeks off will be part of the job.
- Maximum career gap allowed is 7 months.
- Immediate joiners are preferred, with a maximum notice period of 14 days.
