Job Description

As an FP&A Analyst at Smith & Howard, you will play a crucial role in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support decision-making and help the organization achieve its financial goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts for revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
  • Collaborate with departments on annual operating budgets and monitor variances.
  • Provide proactive variance analysis along with recommendations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs), trends, and business drivers.
  • Create actionable reports, dashboards, and financial models.
  • Gather and consolidate financial data from multiple sources.
  • Offer ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and marketing teams to provide financial support.
  • Present financial insights and reports to senior management.

**Qualifications & Skills:**

  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Additional certifications like CFA, CMA, MBA, CA, or a legal background would be a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience in FP&A or relevant roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Deep understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and ratios.
  • Proficiency in data analysis using tools such as Excel, databases, and analytical tools.
  • Experience in financial modeling; familiarity with Power BI and AI-driven systems preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location: Bangalore
