Job Description
As a highly skilled Financial Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Finance team by leveraging your expertise in Financial Reporting, Treasury Management, Strategic Projects, and Governance. Your blend of Big 4 and industry experience, coupled with a deep understanding of IFRS, Ind AS, and Indian GAAP, will be instrumental in driving our financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Lead monthly/quarterly/year-end book closure for timely submission of financial results to global finance teams.
- Analyse Balance Sheet, P&L, and Cash Flow statements, highlighting key variances to global stakeholders.
- Collaborate with BPO partners (Accenture) to ensure accounting accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
- Prepare statutory financial statements, including notes and disclosures.
- Treasury Management:
- Review and approve domestic, import, and statutory payment proposals.
- Monitor daily cash positions to support decisions on investments, borrowings, and liquidity planning.
- Strategic & Corporate Projects:
- Partner with global finance on restructuring, cash pooling, and other strategic initiatives.
- Provide finance support for corporate-level projects like Supplier Financing and Overseas Direct Investments.
- Offer financial insights for M&A and special projects.
- Audit & Governance:
- Ensure timely completion of statutory audits and provide support for group-level audits.
- Conduct internal control self-assessments and coordinate with internal auditors.
- Support cost audit, tax audit, transfer pricing, and GST audit processes.
- Assist compliance teams with regulatory filings (DTP3, FLA returns, XBRL, etc.).
Profile Requirements:
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant
- Experience: 810 years in Financial Reporting, Treasury, Strategic Projects, M&A, and Governance
- Preference for a mix of Big 4 and Industry experience
- Strong working knowledge of SAP, IFRS, Ind AS, and Indian GAAP
- Experience in MNCs within Chemical / Textile Chemical industries preferred
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical mindset and professional maturity
