Financial MIS Analyst

Role Overview: As a Finance MIS Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting financial analysis and reporting activities. Your main responsibility will be to work closely with the Pulses vertical finance team to manage and analyze financial data, create insightful reports, and contribute to strategic financial planning. Leveraging your expertise in management information systems and finance, you will enhance reporting accuracy and support business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Data Analysis: - Collect, analyze, and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights for decision-making processes within the vertical. - Conduct trend analysis such as Price/Position analysis, Profitability Analysis, and Sales Analysis. - Reporting: - Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and communicate financial performance. - Prepare MIS Consolidation, P&L infographics, and Management Reporting Decks/Presentations. - Systems Management: - Assist in managing and optimizing financial systems and databases to ensure data accuracy and integrity. - Work on IT tools management and Automation projects. - Financial Modeling: - Create and update financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. - Experience with the Hyperion platform is required. - Process Improvement: - Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and data accuracy. - Collaboration: - Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver financial information tailored to various business needs. - Compliance: - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies in all reporting and data management activities. Qualifications: - Education: MBA in Finance, Accounting, CA Inter, or a related field. - Experience: 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in finance, financial analysis, or MIS (internships and relevant projects are also considered). Required Skills: - Technical Skills: - Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), MIS Reporting, and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Power Query. - Experience with ERP systems such as D365, AX, Hyperion, SAP is a plus. - Analytical Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends. - Communication Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present findings to various stakeholders. - Attention to Detail: - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and data management. - Team Player: - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented workplace and handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
