Finance Systems Solution Architect

As a Technical Solutions Architect (Cloud Engineer) at MedInsight, you will be an integral part of the Strategic Analytics Services team, supporting various healthcare analytics, predictive analytics, and digital transformation projects. Your role will involve leveraging different data types and assisting in all phases of technical consulting work, including requirements gathering, scalable solution design, data architectures, research, and development. Your strong analytic, technical, and communication skills will be key in partnering with clients to deliver business value and innovative cloud-first solutions. **Role Overview:** - Understand client business goals and strategic context to harvest requirements from client organizations. - Ensure exceptional attention to detail on all project tasks. - Turn data results into client-facing deliverables that are informative and easy-to-use. - Standardize ad hoc processes and drive continuous improvement for automating and optimizing performance of ongoing processes. - Assist senior technical staff with the support of, upgrades of, and modifications to, existing advanced data products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience required. - Preference for candidates with healthcare data and cloud solutions experience. - Working knowledge of healthcare concepts and data structures. - Familiarity with healthcare claims data and data analytic platforms. - Ability to prioritize and manage concurrent projects. - Execute work with exceptional attention to detail on all project tasks. - Ability to work under time pressure and prioritize tasks with little supervision. - Client consulting experience. - Programming/development experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Python. - Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Spark, SQL, Python, R, C#) preferred. - Experience in managing or guiding organizations' transitions to cloud resources. - Data warehousing and/or large IT project experience. - Experience working with large data sets. - Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel. - Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of products. - Healthcare informatics, analytics, and reporting knowledge. - Bachelor's degree, preferably in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information systems, finance, economics, engineering, or related fields. **Desired Experience And Traits:** - Experience working with relational and big data database technologies (Databricks, Microsoft Azure). - Hands-on experience in creating microservices architecture and cloud-native applications. - Hands-on experience in Agile design and implementation approaches. - Experience in reducing costs and improving efficiencies in data analytics. - Healthcare claims analysis experience a plus. - Ability to translate complex healthcare data questions into manageable tasks. - Self-motivated, organized, and adaptable. - Desire and ability to learn new skills, systems, and processes. - Excitement about working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating across teams. - Interest in developing data-driven solutions that make information easy to access, understand, and act upon.
