Finance Intern

As a Finance Intern at Animaker India Private Limited, you will be part of a 6-month internship program where you will gain hands-on experience in core accounting functions. Your role will involve working closely with the Senior Finance Executive and assisting in various finance activities such as accounts payable, domestic receivables, GST & TDS reconciliations, banking coordination, and other routine finance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, verify supporting documents, and maintain vendor ledger
• Reconcile payable balances and assist in preparing payment schedules
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Track customer invoices, follow up on payments, and reconcile customer accounts
• Assist in preparing ageing reports and coordinate with the sales team for outstanding collections
• Support in monthly GST reconciliation and verify input tax credit eligibility
• Assist in GST return working and documentation
• Reconcile TDS receivable/payable with books and assist in quarterly TDS return working
• Coordinate with banks for routine transactions, assist in bank reconciliations, and prepare documents for banking requirements
• Maintain accounting records, assist in month-end closing activities, and support internal and statutory audit requirements
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned

Qualification Required:

• Final year or recent graduate in B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with GST and TDS concepts
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Tally/ERP) is an advantage

• Basic understanding of Indian taxation (GST & TDS)
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
