Role Overview:
As a Cost Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to oversee financial aspects related to Factory, Supply, and Procurement functions. You will be required to analyze and review comprehensive performance reporting for manufacturing operations, drive month-end activities, and support process improvement initiatives. Your role will also involve analyzing purchase price variances, managing BOM checking, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Additionally, you will be responsible for cost control and reduction through financial forecasting and innovative cost-saving strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial aspects including cost monitoring for Factory, Supply, and Procurement functions.
- Analyze and review comprehensive End to End performance reporting for manufacturing operations.
- Drive month-end activities for factories and outsourced service providers including variance analysis and trend analysis.
- Analyze purchase price variances, quantity variances, and mix variances on a monthly basis.
- Support process improvement initiatives driven by outsourced service providers.
- Conduct cost and volume reconciliation of contract manufacturing units.
- Support annual/periodic internal and external audits and drive improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance of cost records and cost audit under section 148 of the Company Act 2013.
- Compute Net working capital for External Manufacturing Operations.
- Identify innovative ways of cost savings and contribute to continuous forecasting and business plan monitoring.
Qualifications Required:
- Educational qualification: CMA/CWA/CA.
- Finance or accounting background.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and results-driven approach.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Project management experience within a finance context.
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office.
