Finance Accounting Manager

As a Finance Accounting Manager at our company, your role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial reporting processes to facilitate decision-making and organizational performance. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards such as IFRS, UK GAAP, FRS 102. - Create supporting schedules, reconciliations, and variance analyses. - Assist in group consolidation processes. - Lead month-end and year-end closing activities. - Review journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. - Perform balance sheet reconciliations promptly. - Maintain financial data integrity and meet deadlines. - Assist in preparing statutory accounts and regulatory returns. - Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory reporting. - Monitor the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. - Review and enhance accounting processes. - Contribute to financial systems and process improvement. - Support finance transformation initiatives. Qualifications Required: - Fully qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent). - Minimum 8 years' experience in financial accounting. - Strong knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, or relevant accounting framework. - Experience in preparing statutory accounts and supporting audits. - Proficiency in general ledger management and reconciliation. - Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Desirable: - Experience with NetSuite ERP systems. - Experience in multi-entity or group environments.
