Job Description
As a Field Service Technician at Apna (On behalf of Applied Techno Engineers Private Limited), your role will involve installing, commissioning, servicing, and maintaining gas analyzers at customer sites in industrial environments. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Installation, commissioning, and start-up of gas analyzers at customer sites
- Performing preventive and breakdown maintenance of gas analyzers and related systems
- Calibration, validation, and performance testing of analyzers
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
- Providing on-site and remote technical support to customers
- Conducting customer training on operation and routine maintenance of instruments
- Preparing service reports, calibration records, and visit documentation
- Coordinating with manufacturing, design, and sales teams for technical issues
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Supporting AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) and warranty services
Qualifications required for this role include:
- 15 years of experience in servicing gas analyzers or analytical instruments
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered
- ITI/Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics
Skills & Competencies needed for this role:
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation and analytical principles
- Ability to read electrical drawings, P&ID, and wiring diagrams
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, and industrial communication (preferred)
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at industrial sites
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
This position offers a full-time nature of job with a salary ranging from 20,000 to 35,000 per month. The job location is in Thane with a preference for male candidates. The company does not specify a preference for ex-servicemen. This role has one opening available.
