Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Field Service Engineer at Pune or Nagpur location, you will be responsible for delivering technical support and maintenance services, which include troubleshooting, repairs, and installations. You will document detailed service activities, prepare for service visits to achieve first-visit resolution, and actively address customer escalations and feedback. Your role will involve executing moderately complex service tasks in the field, identifying sales opportunities, and expanding product knowledge to maintain high standards of service and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance of Service Delivery Processes and deliver services effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in Corrective Maintenance and maintain and complete the PM Schedules within the stipulated time frame for the designated area.
- Implement FCOs of the respective modalities and act as a support resource to other FSEs for their implementation.
- Report all necessary information, both technical and administrative, such as Call Completion, Call Reporting, PM, FCO, Installations to the concerned Modality Leader and Territory Manager.
- Install and implement the respective systems and coordinate the process of Spare parts Sales with the Customer.
- Identify opportunities for System Upgrades and promote the same to the Customer.
- Close calls in time with proper bookings of expenses and man-hours in the system.
- Adapt and identify yourself as a backup to the Territory Manager of the respective territory.
- Manage Strategic Key Accounts and other Customers for the respective Territory and modality.
- Raise timely escalations in SMAX and ensure timely creation of CFMS on a case-to-case basis.
- Track and identify generic product quality, site-related issues, and bring them to the notice of the higher management through Field Problem Reports/CFMS.
- Take care of assigned customer accounts for all customer service-related activities.
- Manage the Key Accounts for the respective modality to ensure Customer satisfaction.
- Maintain uptime records for assigned accounts.
- Ensure personal acceptability by the customer in appearance and behavior according to Philips Health Systems policy and targets.
- Confirm compliance with Philips Health System safety standards, including patient safety, health, safety, and security regulations, and adhere strictly to General Business Principles.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Medical, or a Science-related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT, Network Diagnosis, System Connectivity, Remote Service within an Engineering, Medical, or Science-related environment.
- CT/MRI/Multimodality experience - Mandatory.
- Medtech industry background - Mandatory.
