Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Technician for PMPML Depots in Pune, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting crucial electronic systems on PMPML buses at various depots during night shifts. Your role will involve performing maintenance on LED destination boards, GPS tracking units, CCTV cameras, and Mobile Network Video Recorder (MNVR) boxes. Additionally, you will conduct night visits to bus depots for wiring inspections, new installations, and system testing. It is essential for you to coordinate proactively with the support team, maintain accurate daily service logs, ensure rapid resolution of technical issues, and communicate effectively with depot authorities. Key Responsibilities: - Perform maintenance and troubleshoot LED destination boards, GPS tracking units, CCTV cameras, and Mobile Network Video Recorder (MNVR) boxes on buses. - Conduct night visits to bus depots for wiring inspections, new installations, and system testing. - Coordinate proactively with the support team and maintain accurate daily service logs. - Ensure rapid resolution of technical issues, minimizing downtime, and communicate effectively with depot authorities. Qualifications Required: - Education: ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), or Electrical. - Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities, basic understanding of auto electrics/vehicle electronics, and good communication skills. - Availability: Ability to work independently during night shifts is essential.
