Executive - Graphic Designer

Role Overview: As a Graphic Designer specializing in Packaging Artwork Mods & Production for Glamrs x Purplle in Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to swiftly and accurately create clean and on-brand artwork variations for various platforms including banners, PDP assets, packaging, emails, and social media. Your role will heavily focus on production tasks such as resizing, re-layouts, copy swaps, localization, and ensuring the final exports are print-ready. Key Responsibilities: - Create all required size/format variations of a master visual while maintaining visual balance and hierarchy - Modify and adapt packaging artwork to ensure print-readiness and brand consistency - Organize and clean up design files for seamless handoff to internal teams or print vendors - Uphold consistency in brand grids, type styles, color systems, and spacing - Export designs correctly for different platforms and print formats - Implement systematic file organization, versioning, and naming conventions - Collaborate closely with the team and efficiently incorporate feedback Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop - Strong understanding of graphic design fundamentals including layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and alignment - Knowledge of dielines, bleed, margins, and safe zones - Ability to adapt and update packaging labels, claims, and ingredient panels - Experience in preparing files for print with correct color profiles - Portfolio demonstrating before/after artwork modifications, multi-size creative sets, and packaging updates - Excellent file hygiene practices such as tidy layers, linked assets, and organized artboards - Competence in exporting designs for web, social, app, printing, and high-resolution needs - Basic familiarity with ChatGPT, MidJourney, or similar AI tools for iteration and reference creation Additional Company Details: Founded in 2011, Purplle has established itself as a leading omnichannel beauty destination in India, offering a wide range of beauty products from over 1,000 brands to more than 7 million monthly active users.
