Job Description
You will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to the general ledger accounting, ensuring accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, coordinating the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules, managing the reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts, collaborating with internal and external auditors during financial audits, developing and implementing accounting procedures to improve efficiency, and staying up-to-date on accounting regulations and compliance issues.
- Oversee all activities related to the general ledger accounting.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Coordinate the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Manage the reconciliation and analysis of general ledger accounts.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
- Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve efficiency.
- Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and compliance issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Minimum years of experience in general ledger accounting: 8-10 years for International - CA candidates, 4-5 years for CA candidates.
- Strong knowledge of IND AS, IFRS and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
