Job Description
You will be responsible for developing embedded software for automotive microcontrollers at different levels of testing. This includes implementing low-level microcontroller specific features for performance tests. You will work with real hardware on your desk, performing live debugging & tracing, and customizing for different test platforms. Collaboration is key as you will work closely in a multi-disciplinary and cross-site team.

- Implement low-level microcontroller specific features for performance tests
- Work with real hardware for live debugging & tracing
- Customize software for different test platforms
- Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary and cross-site team
Qualifications Required:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Relevant working experience in embedded software development
- Experience in C or C++ programming for microcontrollers, low-level C programming
- Familiarity with common microcontroller peripherals and communication interfaces
- Knowledge of compilers (e.g. GCC, Tasking), debuggers (PLS, Lauterbach), etc.
- Familiarity with automatic verification support tools like perspec from Cadence
- Proficiency in source code management version control systems (GIT)
- Practical knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Perl
- Hands-on experience with hardware setup, measurement, and debugging using oscilloscopes, multimeters
- Understanding of electronic schematics and hardware blocks
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented thinking
