As a firmware developer, your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute firmware development projects. You will be involved in creating firmware documentation including block diagrams, architecture, and flow charts. Additionally, you will be required to handle project documentation such as timelines, DFMEA, and DVP. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful project completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute firmware development projects
- Create firmware documentation including block diagrams, architecture, and flow charts
- Manage project documentation such as timelines, DFMEA, and DVP
- Conduct firmware testing using instruments and simulators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project completion
Qualifications Required:
- Strong understanding of C programming, C compilers, pre-processors, and optimizations
- Experience in a microcontroller-based development environment using MCUs such as STM8s, STM32, ARM, Renesas, PIC, and AVR
- Hands-on experience with Bitbucket and GIT tools
- Familiarity with test instruments like oscilloscope, logic analyzers, and strong debugging skills (RCA)
- Proficiency in creating flowcharts and block diagrams to represent firmware design
- Knowledge of project development cycles and documentation processes including DFMEA and DVP
- Basic understanding of motor drives
- Experience working with communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, RS232, and RS485
- Familiarity with different display methods including LED, 7SEG, LCD, OLED, and GLCD
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on first principles thinking
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment and handle ambiguity effectively
- Willingness to be hands-on and proactive with the right attitude
- Ability to manage complexity by working with multiple stakeholders in a dynamic setting
- Detail-oriented with the ability to notice minor details effectively
