Role Overview:
Schneider Electric SE, a leading French multinational company specializing in digital automation and energy management, is looking for a talented Electronics Hardware Engineer to join their dynamic team at Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd. As an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic components, devices, and systems across various applications. Your role will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality electronic hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic circuits, components, and systems to meet product requirements and specifications.
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototyping for electronic hardware designs.
- Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware to ensure performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with software and mechanical engineering teams to integrate electronic hardware into overall product designs.
- Evaluate and select electronic components and materials for use in product designs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in electronic hardware designs.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Electronics/ Electronics & Communication or related field.
- Proven experience in electronic hardware design, development, and testing.
- Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Cadence, PCB viewer).
- Strong understanding of Analog and Digital circuit design principles.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers, sensors, power electronics (Power Supply or SMPS), and wireless communication technologies.
- Experience with design for manufacturability and design for testability principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
