ELK Engineer

As an Elastic Engineer / ELK Engineer at Flex, you will be based in Pune / Chennai / Coimbatore and play a crucial role in designing, building, securing, and maintaining Elasticsearch solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, documenting, building, securing, and maintaining Elastic Stack Enterprise solutions (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats, with X-Pack subscription) deployed in ECK or on-premise. - Collaborating with architects, engineers, and integrators to assess customer requirements and design and support Elasticsearch Stack solutions. - Moving solutions through the life cycle processes from Dev to Test to Production. - Providing subject matter expertise, guidance, and best practice recommendations. - Configuring and maintaining Linux based Operating Systems to support Elasticsearch products. - Documentation of installation and configuration for deployment into production following Ci / CD standards. - Securing solutions with familiarity in TLS, certificates, SSO/PIV authentication, and encryption technologies. - Testing data flows, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring solution health to maximize performance and minimize downtime. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's or Master's degree with 7 years of experience in IT. - Minimum 4-6 years of proven experience as an ELK Engineer. - Proficiency in developing ELK stack solutions including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana. - Experience in configuring, maintaining, tuning, administering, and troubleshooting Elasticsearch clusters in ECK and on-premises installations. - Agile development experience and proficiency with source control. - Ability to work collaboratively with DevOps, Product, and Project Management through clear communication. - Strong understanding of JSON data ingest, text analytics, and systems engineering experience with Elastic ELK clusters in scaling cloud environments. Preferred experiences include proficiency in any scripting language, experience with Elasticsearch Painless scripting language, data wrangling, Elasticsearch benchmarking load test, and familiarity with security best practices, system integration, and architecture.
