Electrical Design Engineer

We have an excellent opportunity for a Design Engineer with a reputed cable manufacturing company based in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. This is a full-time permanent position on company payroll, offering strong learning and growth in the electrical panel design domain.

Role Overview:
The role involves working on design, development, and optimization of HT and LT electrical panels. The candidate will be responsible for handling design calculations, drawings, component selection, and coordination with production teams to ensure smooth execution and quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and development of electrical power and control circuits for HT and LT panels
• Preparation of General Arrangement (GA) drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
• Electrical panel testing and numerical relay programming
• Busbar sizing, heat load calculation, and panel optimization
• Selection and specification of electrical components
• Preparation of cost estimates for HT and LT panels
• Preparation and review of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Coordination with shopfloor for panel wiring, assembly, and execution
• Work on switchgear, control panels, and capacitor bank panels
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and electrical design practices

Skills Required:

• Hands-on experience in AutoCAD and electrical design
• Experience in HT/LT panel design and GA drawing preparation
• Knowledge of busbar calculation and heat load analysis
• Understanding of relay programming and panel testing
• Knowledge of electrical component selection and costing
• Familiarity with switchgear and control panel systems
• Basic understanding of manufacturing/shopfloor processes

Qualification:
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering

Experience:
4 to 6 years in electrical panel manufacturing industry
