Job Description
As an Editor, Tax Current Awareness at Thomson Reuters, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and editing high-quality articles daily. Additionally, you will create, update, and enhance data for US individual income tax products, prioritize concurrent projects to meet challenging deadlines, and analyze the interests of a targeted professional audience. You will also identify key regulatory, administrative, and transactional documents and collaborate with colleagues and other departments globally to achieve company goals.
Qualifications required for the role:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field such as Tax, Commerce, Business, or Finance.
- Recent experience in taxation, accountancy, or U.S. individual income tax preparation.
- Intermediate to highly proficient in Excel, including the use of complex formulas and pivot tables.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with Associated Press style.
- Experience using online research platforms.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing responsibilities and projects.
