Job Description
As a Duck Creek Billing QA Lead at our company in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of Duck Creek Billing implementations and leading a team of QA engineers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing QA strategy, planning, and implementation for Duck Creek Billing projects.
- Mentoring and managing a team of QA engineers to uphold best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborating with various teams to define test scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Creating and implementing test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
- Handling defect management and root cause analysis using tools like JIRA and ALM.
- Ensuring compliance with Duck Creek standards and insurance industry regulations.
- Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release validations.
Qualifications required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6 to 10 years of experience in software testing, with a minimum of 3 years in Duck Creek Billing.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading QA teams and managing testing efforts for enterprise applications.
- Strong understanding of Duck Creek architecture, particularly Billing and Policy modules.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, and test management tools.
- Proficiency in SQL and data validation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred qualifications that would be beneficial for this role:
- Duck Creek Certification (Billing or Policy) is highly desirable.
- Experience in the insurance domain, particularly Property & Casualty (P&C).
