Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Finance Manager at Accor, you will be responsible for organizing and directing the team to supervise all revenues and expenses, as well as all inventories. You will manage the day-to-day financial reporting and controlling requirements of the departments, and analyze financial data to recommend changes to improve financial performance. Your role will involve maintaining accounts of all the organization's transactions, budget and cost controls, financial analysis, accounting practices, and reports. Any matter that may affect the interests of the hotel should be brought to the attention of the Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Planning:
- Establish budget forecasts (investment budget and operating budgets) for the organization and keep a record of monthly budgetary discrepancies.
- Prepare Annual Budgets for effective management of the organization.
- People Management:
- Respond to queries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Establish and maintain seamless coordination & cooperation with all hotel departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale, and guest service.
- Ensure the team is trained for all safety provisions and informed of department objectives and policies.
- Motivate and develop the team to ensure smooth department functioning and promote teamwork.
- Financial Management:
- Identify optimal, cost-effective use of resources and educate the team on the same.
- Operational Management:
- Prepare the Monthly Management Accounts and monitor budgetary and key performance indicator movements.
- Develop financial reporting and accounting systems, liaise with company auditors and regulators, and manage accounting functions of the organization.
- Analyze financial implications of proposed capital projects/expenditures and provide guidance to other Department Managers regarding accounting or financial matters.
- Develop, update, maintain, and monitor the effective implementation of policies and procedures, financial position forecasts, and reporting.
- Manage the development of accounting admissions, credit/collections, and internal control policies.
- Recommend management on issues related to Stock Management and Inventory controlling.
- Prepare periodical Management Information Reports and ensure accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications:
- Knowledge and Experience:
- Preferred CA qualification.
- 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in hospitality in international brands, with at least 2 years in a similar responsibility level.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and possess strong analytical and negotiation skills.
